Apple, walnut and maple porridge, with boiled egg

INGREDIENTS

Semi-skimmed milk - 235 ml
Apple - 117 g
Rolled oats - 79 g
Whey protein isolate - 55 g
Maple syrup - 3 tsp
Egg - 2 large




COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring a pan of water to the boil, add egg and boil for 6 minutes, drain and rinse to cool
  2. Meanwhile, mix protein powder, oats and milk in a pan. Heat and simmer for 3 minutes then add sliced apple to soften for a further 5 minutes
  3. Serve with chopped walnuts, a drizzle of maple syrup and egg on the side
