Steak with broccoli, avocado and sweet potato mash

INGREDIENTS

Sweet potato - 405 g
Beef steak - 331 g
Broccoli - 171 g
Avocado - 85 g
Vegetable oil - 1.5 tsp
Cayenne pepper - 1 pinch
Ground coriander - 1.5 tsp
Paprika - 1.5 tsp
Ground nutmeg - 1.5 tsp




COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cube sweet potato and add to boiling pan of water. Boil until soft, about 15 minutes, then drain, add nutmeg, mash and season.
  2. Meanwhile, mix cayenne pepper, coriander and paprika, and rub in to steak. Heat the oil in a pan, and add steak, sear on both sides for 1 minute, then turn down to medium heat
  3. Cover and cook for 3 minutes, or to preference
  4. Add chopped broccoli and cook for a further minute covered
  5. Serve with avocado
